National Suicide Prevention Lifeline offers 24-hour, toll-free, support for people in crisis. 1-800-273-TALK will connect you to immediate help in your area.

The Kristin Brooks Hope Center (KHC) is a nonprofit organization with a focus on suicide prevention, awareness and education. IMAlive is a live online network that uses instant messaging to respond to people in crisis and experiencing intense emotional pain.

Stack Up is a military charity supporting veterans’ mental health through gaming. Stack Up’s trained suicide prevention volunteers, Overwatch, are online to help veterans and civilians 24/7 if you’re feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn.

Trans Lifeline 877-565-8860 is a crisis support line staffed by transgender volunteers offering support for transgender people. Available 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. EST. Volunteers may be available during off hours.

The Trevor Project – Call 1-866-488-7386, Text “START” to 678-678 – American crisis support and suicide prevention for LGBT youth ages 13-24 that is available 24/7. Online chat is also available.

Veterans Crisis Line – Call 1-800-273-8255 (Press 1), Text 838-255 – Support line for U.S. veterans, staffed 24/7 by responders with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Online chat is also available.

Warmlines - A warmline is a peer-run listening line staffed by people in mental health recovery themselves and listed by state. Toll-free statewide Florida Warm Line – 1-800-945-1355 is available 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night of the year, including holidays.

Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is a crisis hotline that provides services 24/7 to both children and adults of abuse, including sexual abuse, in the U.S. and Canada. The hotline can provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals to emergency, social service, and support resources. 1-800-4-A-CHILD will connect you with professional crisis counselors who can provide assistance in over 170 languages.

National Center for Victims of Crime enables victims of all types of crimes (i.e., bullying, physical abuse, stalking, and even terrorism) to secure the help they need. Services are anonymous and confidential with no collection of phone numbers or IP addresses.
Individuals in need can access the center’s Victim Connect Resource Center to get immediate help via chat or phone, report a crime, read about victim rights and how to get a protective or restraining order. Information is also available about financial and legal avenues of help.

National Domestic Violence Hotline - 1-800-799-SAFE is a nonprofit organization specializing in crisis intervention, information, and referral services for domestic violence victims, perpetrators, friends, and families.

Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE. This nationwide partnership of more than 1,100 local rape treatment hotlines provides victims of sexual assault with free, confidential services around the clock.

National Human Trafficking Hotline – Call 1-888-373-7888 or Text “HELP” or “INFO” to 233-733 – a nonprofit organization that connects victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe. The hotline also facilitates tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking to the appropriate authorities. Help is available in English or Spanish, as well as more than 200 languages.
