Insurance and Payment
Palm Cove Psychology Group is a fee for service company. Payment for all sessions will be due at the time of the appointment. We do not accumulate fees.
Palm Cove Psychology Group is an in-network provider for United Healthcare, Cigna, and Blue Cross. We do not participate with Medicare/Medicaid policies. Your co-pay, annual deductible payments, or other non-covered fees will be due at the time of the session.
Dr. Hanley is also available for outpatient psychotherapy on a private pay basis. Unfortunately, we will not submit claims to your insurance carrier for out-of-network coverages. After formulating a diagnosis, we can provide a detailed statement for you to submit directly to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. After the deductible has been met, most insurance plans reimburse 60%-80% of the allowable amount for out-of-network mental health benefits. The policy holder/responsible party is responsible for obtaining any authorizations/certifications required prior to services, as well as for follow up on any outstanding claims.
Please refer to our Testing/Assessment/Evaluation section for fees. We will provide a detailed invoice once the testing services are completed and payment has been received so that you can submit any claims for these services directly to your insurance. It is advisable for you to contact your insurance company directly to obtain a detailed explanation of your benefits and procedures for submitting claims related to evaluations, including any authorizations required prior to testing. Please note there are additional fees for services not covered by insurance companies such as late cancellations or missed appointments, extended phone calls exceeding 15 minutes, lengthy emails, review of medical records, preparation of letters, and in legal cases, preparation and travel. Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For your convenience, Palm Cove Psychology Group accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept payment by health reimbursement accounts (HRA) and health flexible spending accounts (FSA).
